Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter

In a vertical pressure leaf filter, the conical tank is constructed in carbon steel, and the filter elements are in stainless steel. The filter elements are of 5-layer construction with filter screen made of 24 x 110 meshes, Hollander wave. The filter leafs are vertically mounted inside on a common manifold pipe, through which the filtered liquid flows out. The vessel has provisions to blow steam for drying. The vessel is also provided with a pneumatically operated butterfly valve and a pneumatic vibrator for discharge of cake.
